Marriage of Heaven and Earth Qi Gong helps heal back, neck, shoulder and spine problems and is especially effective for relieving repetitive stress injury and carpal tunnel.

Opening and closing your joints gives your joints elasticity, spring and flexibility. It is good for your health and relaxation. It enables you to develop better chi circulation; improve the circulation of fluids in your joints; smooth and release physical, mental and emotional blockages in your body; deeply relax and reduce the effects of stress and tension inside your body; and have more awareness of your energy.

Circling Hands is an effective stress reduction exercise that is easy to learn and do. Use circling hands to unwind and relax. Balances and strengthens your nervous system.

This two-movement exercise is easy to learn for people of any age or body type and is the most popular Qi Gong practice within the Energy Arts system taught by Master B. K. Frantzis. (See Although usually done standing, it can be practiced while sitting or doing computer keyboarding.

No Prerequisites. It is okay to start the class in October, if you missed the September class.

Location: At Backways Physical Therapy, 250 S. McCormick St., Prescott, Arizona. Turn south on McCormick St. from Gurley St. Go 1 1/2 blocks. Park in back of the building and enter building at the 2nd floor. Please RSVP before attending the class for the first time.

Tuition: $45 per three-hour session at the door. $160 for all four sessions if paid at the first class. VISA, MasterCard, Discover credit or debit cards accepted.

Instructor: Susan Kansky has studied Qi Gong, Nei Gong, Tai Chi Chuan, Asian healing arts, physiology and neurobiology since 1978. Her current teacher, Master B. K. Frantzis, a formal Qi Gong and Tai Chi Chuan lineage master, is the only Westerner recognized by Beijing, China as a master of the internal arts. Susan has been teaching Qi Gong, Nei Gong and Tai Chi health exercises and Asian Bodywork Therapies since 1986 and is a Senior Instructor certified by Master Frantzis to teach Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Nei Gong. Her sensitivity to the needs of the students enables her to tailor the class to every student.
